What is Footy Legend?
Footy Legend is a free Aussie Rules career simulator you play in your browser. You create a player — name, guernsey number, position, and the club you grew up barracking for — and then live one whole football career, from junior footy through the state-league pathway, draft night, and every senior season after it.
How a career works
Each season is a handful of decisions: which club to sign with, whether to play through an injury, how to handle a trade offer, who to have in your corner as an agent. Your rating rises while you’re young, peaks in your mid-twenties and slips away after thirty, just like the real thing. Contracts get shorter as you age. Awards, premierships and game milestones fill an honour board you keep between careers.
If your club makes the Grand Final, the premiership isn’t decided by a dice roll — you take the set shot after the siren yourself.
